Just back from a week in the Isle of Skye. Took loads of pictures, did a bunch of sketches, got caught in a blizzard. Magical place. Hoping to do some paintings based on all this stuff in the coming weeks.

I really like this piece. I also like your low detailed "flat" plane styled environments as well.
I think i might try to experiment with doing similar pieces because i don't have a strong grasp on lighting environments. These seem like a helpful way to learn lighting and not get bogged down with over-detailing a piece.
